I can't believe that it was more than 40 years ago that I spent time on this beach. It must have been about 1965, before I started working at Ludema's, that I got to spend a whole summer at the beach. Transistor radios (not tubes) meant you could carry a radio down to the beach. We could pick up WOKY from Milwaukee. The played the Beatles, Herman's Hermits, the Byrds, the Supremes, Peter and Gordon, .......... Those were the days.
