I had made a swing like this in Haiti, and kept the template for the various parts. Jenni has been after me for 4 years to make another one for Arizona, but I don't have the proper power tools--nor do I have the space to make it without leaving a mess all over.
So I asked a friend a church who has a complete woodworking shop attached to his house to make one for us. I gave him the template and he did a fantastic job--the whole thing is made of oak.
Even at 95 degrees it is enjoyable.
